Important Note

After you download pbm2ppa, make sure that the file is named ppa-0.8.6.tar.gz There is a bug with some versions of Netscape and/or Internet Explorer that cause the file to be named incorrectly. Also, if you are unfamiliar with unpacking .tar.gz files, see the FAQ.

pbm2ppa

pbm2ppa 0.8.6 (formerly print-pbm) is a utility designed to work with Ghostscript. It takes a series of PBM files output by Ghostscript and creates the PPA stream to print the pages. This version works with the 710, 720, 820, and 1000 series printers, though testing is still encouraged and welcome!

pbm2ppa-0.8.6-300dpi.tar.gz. This is a contribution from Jozsef Marak. It supports draft printing. I have not had a chance to try it out. If you have problems, email ppa.users@listbot.com.

parse_vlink is a simple utility to step through the individual VLink packets in a PPA stream. It also decodes the SCP packets and prints the information encoded in them.
